Majapahit Puppet
She is a Hindu Princess
from the Royal Puppet Theatre of a 12th Century East Javanese Empire called “Majapahit” the golden age of art in Indonesia. This puppets are delicately carved  and individually painted by hand. They are adorned with fine gold plated Brass jewels and ornaments and dressed  with Batik motive  sarongs or natural cotton.
Each puppet is different and a unique creation in the world’s oldest  puppetry tradition.
