Very refined older Wayang Cepak Puppet of Raden Brawijaya from the Central Java region of Tegal. Fully dressed in authentic old hand batiked cotton and beaded vests, adorned with a wooden kris. Brawijaya is depicted as the last king of the Majapahit Empire, marking the transition from the Hindu-Buddhist era to the rise of Islamic kingdoms in Java. He is portrayed as a wise and diplomatic ruler, symbolizing both the grandeur of the Majapahit and the challenges of its decline. In some stories, he is the father of Raden Patah, linking the Hindu-Buddhist past to the Islamic future.
